Starting painting later in life after a successful fashion business, Ann has used her knowledge and flair for shape, colour and line in her paintings.
Her paintings are mainly abstract and organic, expressing a free and flowing merging of colour, telling a story in her own language.
Ann's inspiration is from nature which she represents in organic shape and colour.
Her use of colour is a strong element in all of her work.
Using mostly oils, Ann also paints in acrylic and uses collage when she feels that the painting would benefit.
In 2011 Ann won the Alexandrina Art Prize.
She continues in her pursuit of knowledge and skills with study at the Adelaide Central School of Art.
