Ann’s unique work is a contemporary take on the Australian coastline. Her interesting aerial perspectives capture the beauty and drama of the seaside.
She enjoys painting the way the water moves, reflects, rises and rolls into the shore and colour. Texture and glazing are used to mimic the light and movement of the waves to create works of intense impact.
Recently she has added a new dimension to her work including aerials of vineyards, wheat harvest and canola fields. Utilizing a resin finish to mimic passage of water, Ann’s abstract interpretations manage to capture both drama and tranquility to striking effect. Ann’s pieces have been exhibited at many solo and group exhibitions.
