Sylvana Angelakis began her career in the arts as a costume and set designer for a range of South Australian theatre groups including the State Opera.
She holds an Advanced Diploma of Applied and Visual Arts from the North Adelaide School of Art and has also studied in New York.
Her first exhibition was part of the 1994 Adelaide Festival of Arts and has since been followed up by a range of exhibitions in South Australia, Victoria and the USA.
Sylvana's multi-layered prints run the entire artistic spectrum and can be vibrant, somber, moody, peaceful and provocative.
