Mark started to paint avidly in the mid 1980s, concentrating on realistic artworks in oil and acrylic. He has received several awards in South Australia, the most recent being highly commended at the Victor Harbor Art Show 2006 and a finalist in the 2008 Fleurieu Bienale. This is Mark’s third Bienale. Mark has also been a finalist in the Heysen Landscape Prize. Mark’s work is always vibrant, crisp and refreshing, the paint is expertly handled and shows great skill.
