Artist Profile

Margo Miles developed a love for art as a young girl at school and from that day did not stop learning, going on to study at the South Australian School of Art and University of South Australia.

After gaining her diploma in Art Teaching, Margo went back to school as an art teacher and university lecturer.

For more than 20 years she has exhibited works successfully at numerous galleries in South Australia and nationally, winning a host of awards along the way, including success as a finalist in the Fleurieu Biennale in 2000 and 2006 and winner of the Victor Harbor Art Prize in 2006.

Margo is a Fellow of the Royal South Australian Society of Arts and is an acknowledged art show judge.

Her wonderful water colours and acrylics are held in private collections in Australia, Europe, the US and Canada.
