Over more than 20 years, John Lacey has established a reputation for painting award-winning impressionistic landscapes in acrylics, water colours and oils.
Born in South Australia in 1947 and now living in Adelaide's Southern suburbs, he began his professional career as a design draftsman before switching to graphic design in 1984.
He now paints professionally and is a prolific art prize winner, his most recent success as winner of the 2007 Victor Harbor Art Show.
John has also won prizes at exhibitions in the Barossa Valley, Blackwood, Clare, Glenelg, Flagstaff Hill and Port Adelaide in SA, plus Sorrento and Portland, Victoria and Mildura, NSW.
